Story by Tracy Mazuer • Illustrated by Dave Lowe

COMING DECEMBER 2024

Ravina the All Wrong Raven is a darkly captivating story in verse for readers aged nine to 99. It follows Ravina, a descendant of Edgar Allan Poe’s famous Raven, on a perilous adventure through a world steeped in sorrow. The King of Ravens has decreed that all ravens must give up their hearts and become harbingers of death and gloom, just like their forefather, The Raven, draining the forest of its soul.

But Ravina—a colorful raven with big feelings and a kind heart—refuses to surrender her heart. Defying the King’s decree, she is determined to restore love, friendship, and kindness to the forest. Can one brave raven rekindle the light in a world consumed by darkness?

Illustrated in a lyrical style that nods to Poe’s haunting legacy while embracing the whimsy of Shel Silverstein, Ravina the All Wrong Raven blends dark beauty with a tale of love, hope, and courage for readers of all ages.

Timely story for young and old

Well told children's story during these adult times, reminding us to keep our own council and not allow others to drag us down. Beautiful illustrations, and nice reference to classic literature for new audiences.

Lovely Book! Kids absolute favourite!

I had the pleasure of picking up this book while on vacation in this winter and it is our most treasured book. The kids talk about it all the time and we read it on repeat. It has such a lovely message.
