The 2026 commission books are now open.
I accept only four commissioned pieces per year.

Each commission results in a one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn tree and handwritten story—created specifically for you or for someone you love. The finished artwork and story are delivered professionally matted in archival linen, ready for framing.

Additional prints, large-format pieces, or canvas versions may be ordered separately at any time. These options are discussed after the original artwork and story are complete, once the piece has fully revealed itself.

HOW TO APPROACH A COMMISSIONED TREE

The best way to begin a commission is not with specifics—but with essence.

Think about the spirit of the person, relationship, or moment you want honored. These trees have minds of their own. When I set an intention, they emerge exactly as they’re meant to.

The process begins with a deep, thoughtful interview. If the piece is for someone else, I’ll learn about them. If it’s for you, I’ll learn about you. My goal is always the same: to capture the core of who the tree is for and to create a story that feels true, resonant, and unmistakably personal.

This is an immersive, reflective process for me, and it takes time. The result is not decorative—it’s meaningful.
