When I started to read the story, I couldn’t put it down until I got to the end. And then the next day I read the Edgar Allan Poe poem. I had forgotten how much rhyming was in his poem. I loved all of the information at the end of your story. I think of several people that I want to share the book with.

What a delightful book that frames so many concepts that even adults sometimes tangle with in such an approachable way for children. I especially love the art and the selective and vibrant use of color!

I was very moved today when I came upon Tracy's work at our local art festival. I was immediately captured by her beautiful artwork of whimsical trees and further by the empowering and meaningful words personal to the story of each creatively named tree. I was touched by the humanness and the feeling behind each of the pieces, but I couldn't decide which truly spoke to my heart the most. Then I came upon Greta Von Snow and felt the power of it right away. It is my story. When I talked with Tracy, she shared how it was her story. The connection and sharing meant a lot, and I felt the solidarity as deeply feeling souls in an oftentimes harsh world. I knew right then that it belonged in my home to remind me everyday that my sensitivity is my super power. Thank you, Tracy, for sharing your kind and strong spirit through your artistry and empowering so many of us.

I'm really enjoying my new shirt from trees have feelings. It's well made it's late weight. There's a little extra space around the collar aa sometimes my bra strap shows, but I think washing the shirt corrected that problem.
I had the pleasure of picking up this book while on vacation in this winter and it is our most treasured book. The kids talk about it all the time and we read it on repeat. It has such a lovely message.
